Mäkelä School

Mäkelä School is located in the neighbourhood of Vallila in Helsinki, in the vicinity of street Mäkelänkatu with excellent transportational connections. The building was completed in 1954 and it was the largest grammar school in the Nordic countries in its day. The building has been renovated in 1995 to meet the standards required from a modern educational facility. During the recent years, the building has been remodeled to meet the needs of our current tenant, Stadin ammatti- & aikuisopisto. The total floor area of the building is 13 350 m².

The faclities are owned by a private company the operation of which includes, among other things, possessing, maintaining and renting of educational properties.

We also rent our facilities all around the year as well as on evenings and weekends to outside customers at very reasonable prices.

Our facilities include, for example, an auditorium of a high standard and an assembly hall alongside conference and teaching rooms of different sizes that provide excellent locations to arrange different kinds of educational events and seminars in.

Our ample parking space assures an easy arrival also when using your own vehicle. Please note that you need to pick up a valid parking license from our information office desk to park on our premises.
